Most Awaiting Moment of World Cup T20 2014 is On Door

One of the biggest moment of upcoming ICC T20 world cup is knocking the door. It will decide whether Bangladesh will host the tournament or not. There is controversy regarding slow and bad stadium preparations. International cricket council is not 100% sure whether stadiums are capable or not to organize the tournament.

ICC inspection board will inspect again the stadiums in August and take final decision whether T20 cup 2014 will be hosted by Bangladesh or not. ICC may shift some world t20 matches from Bangladesh to India or other country like Sri-Lanka. Board can also shift whole tournament from Bangladesh other Asian country.

World Twenty-20 cup for both men and women will be held from 16^th march to 6^th July,2014. As per the define schedule there are four venues in Bangladesh where matches can be organized.

Mirpur and  Chittagong are set to host the tournament matches as they have already done in past for international matches. Sylhet and Cox’s Bazar Stadium are new in the country and lots of work yet to be done for the stadiums to make them capable to organize ICC matches. Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) president Nazmul Hassan has believed that they will host the tournament and ICC board members panel won’t be disappointed with the preparations of new stadiums.

Sri-Lankan Cricket board president has shown interest to host the tournament if BCB fails to satisfy international cricket council with their preparations.  Ashley De Silva has told that they have capabilities to organize the ICC world cup T20 2014. South-Africa board also provide this kind of information to espncricinfo.

Indian Board has also shown faith in hosting the upcoming world t20. India will host same ICC tournament in early 2016 and also the test championship in 2021. Hence India can also organize T20 world cup if ICC gives opportunity. BCCI is the richest cricket board, so icc may give 20-20 tournament to india.

The early 2014 political elections in Bangladesh are also the concern area for international cricket board. All the decisions and queries regarding the T20 cup will be ended up in the August inspection.
